INTERIM MARKETING SUPPORT.
WHEN THERE'S A GAP ON YOUR TEAMSOMEONE STILL HAS TO GET THINGS DONE.
A temporary opening on a marketing team can create a bigger disruption than you might think.
Projects lose momentum. Decisions get delayed. Agency partners lose their point of contact. Sales teams start wondering who to call and when their materials will be completed. And the rest of the marketing team tries to absorb work they likely didn't have capacity for in the first place, leading to further burnout and frustration.
I can step in for a defined period of time to provide experienced marketing leadership and hands-on support until the permanent solution is in place.

THE ROLE MAY BE VACANT.
THE WORK ISN’T.
Product launches, campaigns, agency work and strategic priorities don’t stop because someone leaves. Interim Marketing Support gives you experienced marketing capacity to keep important work moving while you take the time to find the right permanent hire.

WHEN INTERIM SUPPORT MAKES SENSECOMMON SITUATIONS.
LEADERSHIP TRANSITION
Your marketing organization is going through a change and needs stability, direction and additional capacity during the transition.
PARENTAL OR MEDICAL LEAVE
An important member of the team will be away for an extended period, but their responsibilities still need experienced coverage.
SUDDEN DEPARTURE
A key marketing role is vacant and recruiting the right person will take time. I can help bridge the gap while your search is underway.
TEMPORARY CAPACITY NEED
Your team has more important work than it can realistically handle because of a launch, major initiative, organizational change or unusually busy period.
EXPERIENCED. HANDS-ON. EXECUTION.READY TO STEP IN AND GET TO WORK.
Interim support isn’t consulting from the sidelines.
I become part of the team for a defined period of time and take responsibility for the work we've agreed needs to keep moving.
Depending on the situation, that might mean managing priorities and timelines, leading meetings, coordinating agency partners, supporting product launches, working with sales, reviewing creative, developing plans, managing budgets or simply making sure people have the decisions and direction they need to do their jobs.
I'm comfortable moving between strategy and execution because that's what real marketing roles require.

A FLEXIBLE FITNot every gap requires an interim CMO.
Sometimes you need someone to provide senior marketing leadership. Sometimes you need an experienced marketer to step into a director or brand leadership role. And sometimes you simply need someone who can take ownership of a group of important initiatives while a member of your team is away.
We'll define the role around the actual needs of your organization — including responsibilities, priorities, expected time commitment and how long support is likely to be needed.
That could mean a few days each month or several days each week depending on the situation. The point isn't to force your organization into a predetermined engagement model.
It's to give you the right level of experienced support for the gap you're trying to fill.
BUILT TO FIT THE ROLE
YOU NEED.
HOW IT WORKSGET UP TO SPEED. KEEP THINGS MOVING.
01
UNDERSTAND
We start with the situation.
I'll get up to speed on the business, team, role, priorities, active projects, agency relationships and anything else I need to understand to contribute quickly.
02
PRIORITIZE
We identify what matters most.
We determine what needs attention now, what can wait and what success should look like during the interim period. The goal is continuity — not creating unnecessary work.
03
STEP IN
I take ownership and begin working alongside your team.
This is where interim support differs from traditional project consulting: I'm there to help run the work, not just recommend what someone else should do.
04
HAND OFF
Interim means interim.
When the permanent team member arrives or the situation changes, I'll help create a clean transition plan — documenting priorities, decisions, open projects and next steps so momentum isn't lost during the handoff.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSA FEW QUICK ANSWERS.
-
It depends on the situation. My background allows me to work across senior marketing leadership, marketing management, brand management, product marketing and integrated marketing responsibilities. We'll define the role based on what your organization actually needs rather than trying to match a specific title.
-
An engagement might cover a defined leave, support the organization during a hiring process or provide temporary capacity through a particularly demanding period. We'll establish an expected timeframe upfront and adjust if the situation changes.
-
That depends on the scope of work and my availability. Interim engagements can range from a few days per month to multiple days per week. We'll determine the appropriate commitment based on the responsibilities involved.
-
Absolutely. In many situations, managing and collaborating with agency partners will be an important part of the role. I can provide clear internal direction, help agencies get the decisions and information they need and make sure work stays connected to broader business and marketing priorities.
-
Yes. Interim support is designed to integrate with the team you already have. Depending on the engagement, I may lead team members, work alongside them or take responsibility for a particular part of the marketing function.
-
It depends on the work.
I'm hands-on and will take ownership of appropriate planning, leadership and marketing responsibilities. But I'm not trying to replace an entire internal team or agency partner.
When specialized execution is required — creative development, media, web development or other disciplines — I'll work with your existing resources or help determine what additional expertise is needed.
-
I help make the transition as smooth as possible. That can include documenting current priorities, providing project status, transferring key relationships, briefing the incoming team member and helping them understand important decisions that were made during the interim period.
-
Most engagements are designed to work remotely, giving me the flexibility to work closely with your team wherever you’re located. I’m also available to travel for kickoff sessions, important meetings, workshops or other moments when being in the room makes a difference.
For engagements that require travel, related travel time and expenses are covered by the client.
